Matthew's 8 yrs old!

I can't believe this sweet boy is 8 years old!  Matthew Troy Peterson was born on May 30, 2007 at 9:09 am.  He was a chunky 8lbs 14 oz.  He wasn't the easiest baby of the bunch when he was born, gave me quite a scare (another story for another day), but he sure is a cutie.

From an early age, he was going to be his daddy's best buddy.  We were surprised to even have a little boy so you can imagine all the things Brian was excited to do with a little stud.  Matthew is definitely his daddy's mini me.

Sports is this kids' life.  He loves to play any sport you put in front of him.  Right now he thrives on soccer and baseball.  But loves to throw around a football, shoots some hoops, hop on his battery powered motorcycle, etc.

I love this kid!

Being 8 years old brings on some new things in Matthew's life.  He was baptized on June 6th into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He started Cub Scouts as a Wolf.  He is excited to start his 3rd grade year in school.  Lots to look forward to.
